Treatment Introduction
Reepot Laser
Turn back your skin’s clock with just one treatment.
Treatment Guide
The Reepot laser is a device used to treat pigmented lesions such as freckles and age spots. It uses a cooling technology to minimize pain and allows for a quick procedure.
Treatment Benefits
It automatically adjusts the laser intensity to respond to uneven pigmentation. Using a Hyper Cooling Tech handpiece, it minimizes discomfort. You can return to your daily activities immediately after the procedure. It utilizes contact cooling (CPTL) technology and VSLS® cooling technology.
Precautions
1. After pigmentation removal, the wound may have healed, but the stratum corneum is still thin, so skin irritation should be minimized. Some redness may appear, which is a normal part of the healing process and will gradually resolve over time.
2. After removing the moist bandage, if you have been prescribed steroid ointment, use it as instructed (usually twice daily for 2 weeks).
3. In addition to the prescribed ointment, it is recommended to use regenerative creams containing growth factors like EGF to aid healing.
4. For skin prone to melasma or pigmentation, recovery may initially seem fine, but pigmentation may appear 1–2 months after treatment. The recovery period varies by individual (3–6 months), but the skin will eventually normalize.
5. For 2 months after treatment, avoid anything that may irritate the skin. This includes double cleansing with oil-based cleansers, exfoliation, scrubs, and retinoid-based products, as they can delay healing. For sensitive skin prone to hyperpigmentation, continued caution is advised.
6. For 2 months after treatment, use sunscreen diligently when going outdoors. Avoid swimming or prolonged sun exposure until skin regeneration is complete. 7. Epidermal pigmented cells are usually removed within 1–2 sessions, but depending on pigmentation depth (e.g., dermal pigment), additional treatment may be required. Please visit the clinic if further treatment is needed.
